All our classes are currently online: we have been using the Zoom platform since April which has been a great success, proving popular with both students and teachers alike.
Forthcoming courses and terms: our winter term is now well underway however enrolments are now being taken for a new 8 week block of beginners classes (Wed and Thursday evenings, 6.00pm-8.30pm) starting w/c 15th Feb as well as the spring term which starts w/c 19th April. Enrolment and payment can be done via this website. We have reduced the cost of all adult courses to a price which we hope will help our students and also ensure that our teachers can continue to earn a living. Throughout these difficult and challenging times we have been delighted by the very enthusiastic response from our students and the way in which they are supporting their teachers and the school in general.
Over the last 25 years Lorca has helped literally thousands of people from across Scotland to learn Spanish – the world’s second most commonly spoken language. During these uncertain times many people are looking to learn something new – learning a new language such as Spanish is not only enjoyable and fun but is also a great life skill to have!
All our teachers are fully qualified native speakers from Spain or Latin America. Depending on the level of the class, they will speak to you mainly in Spanish, with English where necessary to explain everything and help you develop your new language skills – all delivered online for the present!

Please check our Facebook page for further news. We’ll try and update it as often as possible, as well as posting some news of all kinds (good, bad and, hopefully, amusing) from Spain and other Hispanic countries to take your minds of our current situation! If you are one of our current students, please encourage any friends to think about joining you in your classes.
