Stuck at home, looking for something to do?
Now’s the time to learn Spanish (online!)
All our classes are currently online: we have been using the Zoom platform since April which has been a great success, proving popular with both students and teachers alike.
Our new winter term starts w/c 11th January (Saturday morning classes start 9th January) and you can enrol and pay now on this website. We have reduced the cost of all adult courses to a price which we hope will help our students and also ensure that our teachers can continue to earn a living. Throughout these difficult and challenging times we have been delighted by the very enthusiastic response from our students and the way in which they are supporting their teachers and the school in general.
Over the last 25 years Lorca has helped literally thousands of people from across Scotland to learn Spanish – the world’s second most commonly spoken language. During these uncertain times many people are looking to learn something new – learning a new language such as Spanish is not only enjoyable and fun but is also a great life skill to have!
All our teachers are fully qualified native speakers from Spain or Latin America. Depending on the level of the class, they will speak to you mainly in Spanish, with English where necessary to explain everything and help you develop your new language skills – all delivered online for the present!
If you want to contact us directly to ask a question or just for more information, please email enquiries@lorcaspanish.com
Please check our Facebook page for further news. We’ll try and update it as often as possible, as well as posting some news of all kinds (good, bad and, hopefully, amusing) from Spain and other Hispanic countries to take your minds of our current situation! If you are one of our current students, please encourage any friends to think about joining you in your classes.

My two daughters have attended Lorca for three years now and they love it. We can see how much their Spanish improves every year!”
I studied Spanish to Higher level but then stopped for years. Lorca has rekindled by enthusiasm and I am really pleased by how much better my Spanish is now. The class is good fun and the rest of the students are welcoming and helpful.
