Now’s the time to learn Spanish – online from the comfort of your home or office
We have decided to stick to our online format via Zoom for the remainder of this year: we will review the possibility of reinstating face-to-face classes again in 2023. We fully understand that some students are keen to get back to an in-person environment however it is also true that many like the online format and find it very convenient as they can learn from the comfort of their home. An additional benefit of online teaching has meant that students who live outwith the Glasgow area (and for whom therefore it would have been impossible to attend otherwise) have been able to join Lorca. We hope however to be able to offer both in-person and online options going forward.
An intensive programme of beginners classes is due to start in August and our autumn term will be starting at the beginning of September – enrolments now being taken for both courses. Please use the “Apply Now” button to book. If you already have a level of Spanish then please remember to complete our online level test.
Over the last 25 years Lorca has helped literally thousands of people from across Scotland to learn Spanish – the world’s second most commonly spoken language. Learning a new language such as Spanish is not only enjoyable and fun but is also a great life skill to have!
All our teachers are fully qualified native speakers from Spain or Latin America. Depending on the level of the class, they will speak to you mainly in Spanish, with English where necessary to explain everything and help you develop your new language skills.

I studied Spanish to Higher level but then stopped for years. Lorca has rekindled by enthusiasm and I am really pleased by how much better my Spanish is now. The class is good fun and the rest of the students are welcoming and helpful.
